Training is your investment in the future

Supported by
If you were given the choice between two different doctors— one was trained, the other not— which one would you choose?
Even if there was no “up-front” cost for the untrained doctor? You still wouldn’t use them, would you?
Yet many business owners do not recognise the importance of employee training.
We wouldn’t hire unqualified employees. However, we hire them on specific skills and sometimes through the course of their employment they become under-qualified due to changing technology or the development of new methods.
Training presents a prime opportunity to not only expand the knowledge base of your employees but to also engage and show your employees you value them.
But many employers in the current climate find development opportunities expensive.
Training does come at a cost. As does not training.
'What if we train them and they leave?'business owners often ask
'What if you don't train them and they stay?' is my reply
The two biggest resources used for job training are time and money.
Some of the excuses not to train are:
“We are too busy to learn something new right now.”
“We just don’t have the money to pay for training.”
Employees attending training sessions also miss out on work time which may delay the completion of projects. However, despite these potential drawbacks, training and development provide both the individual and organisations as a whole with benefits that make the cost and time a worthwhile investment. The return on investment from training and development of employees is really a no brainer.
The universal question is how do we develop our people in a cost effective, timely manner in order to get the best results for our business?
When it comes to training and development and improving you and your teams’ skills SHORT, SHARP & PUNCHY is best.
We’ve put on our thinking caps and developed a series of practical, informative and dynamic sessions to deliver the maximum impact at the minimum output for you and your people.
Held monthly our workshops are delivered in 3 hour chunks and are structured in a way that makes it easy to implement quickly back in the workplace.
From dealing with difficult people to accelerating change, working more efficiently and coming up with ideas that give you a sneaky advantage, the way you and your employees think, feel and behave makes a big difference. Sometimes all the difference!
Building Resilience
Ever heard of VUCA?
It's an acronym coined by Warren Bennis in 1987 to describe the volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity of certain conditions and situations - and in our current climate, it's certainly VUCA out there!

Being resilient (the ability to bounce back) is a great way to handle the ambiguity and complexity of what's going on in our workplace and our world.

We’ve all been there. Be it work, social or a family dinner, we’ve all found ourselves in situations where we have been forced to interact with people we find to be “difficult”.
